whoopedoo!

SEPTEMBER HOLS! <3

WHOOPEEDOO! yesterday was fantastic. We had lit group pt meeting at Bugis so I met Cheryl Lee at Jurong East mrt platform and took train together (: haha keyun the blur pokk X) took wrong lrt and ended up at an unknown place. haha in the end we reached bugis, the others were alr there. decided to go bugis food junction to eat. Eating took one hour, keyun came at the halfway mark. haah Cheryl Chan and Xinle have big appetites! after eating their main course respectively when to buy some japanese stuff which both insisted was very nice and had mango and peppermint ice blend! made me salivate a lot, esp the mango ice blend <3.


After that, we walked to the national library (where the excitement officially began!! XD) and i was going gaga over it, mainly cos i go to Bugis every week but has yet to step into the library! haha i bet people were laughing at me, a 13 year old getting high over a library X) but whatever.
We first went to borrow our own books, i got my 3rd degree <3 and crichton's timeline (: and renewed my 1st to die, courtesy of a certain teacher X(. waste my 50cents! after that 15 min we met up and had all the books. we took the transparent glass elevator which went at such a fast rate(: up to the 7th floor and were laying our stuff out when...ahem a librarian came up to us and told us we can only bring blank paper o___0 in. which means we can't bring the nucleus of our discussion, The Miracle Worker in. we started pleading with her, of course, but to no avail so we went back to the central lending library and started searching for the miracle worker in the search engine. There was only one book available, in Bishan Community Library o____0 but we saw that the video disc was available in Esplanade library. as in one - on loan, second one - in transit but third one - ask service counter etc.


So after all the hooha we decided to make our way to esplanade library, after taking down all the bus numbers. HAHA (: and so the six musketeers went to the nearest bus stop opposite bras basah complex, and found out that NONE of the buses on our list were on the signage at the bus stop. And so after joyce's repeated erm requests (i would say), we decided to walk to the Esplanade library :D haha and we stopped at a supposed traffic light when we realised that there wasn't a green man. THEN we walked to the other one further in front AND there WASN"T ONE EITHER. haha everyone waslike so annoyed. after that, we found an underpass! and got to the esplanade(: which was so cool still despite being there so many times(:


Ok skip skip skip to librarian. We asked her for loaning of the videodisc but she said it was firmly for reference only and cannot be loaned out. haha but we bought her over with our innocent looks (ahem) and the saying that we WALKED (emphasis emphasis) all the way from nat library to here. so she relented. WHOO! and so we booked the larger screening room for 2 hrs and joyce paid by nets. haha luckily she had nets!


in the screening room: we practically camped out in there! haha ate twisties (shh) from a plastic bag while covering that with another plastic bag. it was cool inside and maybe worth the twenty bucks,


ahhaha after the screening room experience i walked out dazedly when i heard sb call my name. I looked down (as the person was sitting on a chair) and guess who? haha it was malisa, what a coincidence! :D


Fast forward we went to the part of Esplanade near the sea and i started freaking out again cos the scenery was so freakishly beautiful!! but anyway we went to discuss the pt on steps. nearing the end we starte drecording for the skit. Xinle is soo funneh! haa shal not spoil surprises by revealing them now X).
